i looked but i saw nothing on how the 2 black & white games are coming along, i know it take a while and sometimes it doesn't happen, but just wanted to see if there is any news if or when the black & white games could be coming to gog

I've just seen it as the #1 game people want to come to this platform, it's been years now at least 3 or 4 years that i've noticed, i did put a vote for both, just wondered how it's coming along... sorry about a bit of ramble typing... i must be possessed by stewie griffin... :P

...just noticed i've already made a post about this, i guess i forgot about it

Check this out:
"Because we care so much to be officially recognised as the developer team of Black & White 3, we don’t take licencing lightly. After nearly a year of intense e-mail communication with possible intellectual property owners and major publishers and closely associated people, our lawyers assured us, that all rights and IP ownership are either outdated or not claimed by anyone."

Pfft. That's just a cease-and-desist waiting to happen.

I don't care about Black & White one bit. But it could be so much more than that. For example Nightdive Studios tried to negotiate a deal for No One Lives forever between Activision, Fox Interactive and Warner Bros. to no avail. First game was almost ready, but the main issue was that companies were too lazy to search any legal documentation for that game. So "some individuals" run a website where NOLF 1-2 and Contract J.A.C.K. could be downloaded illegally (for obvious reasons I'm not going to post a link). The whole point is to attract the necessary attention of IP owners so they could actually resurface documents, and after that it might be possible to make a deal.
We may assume that the case with Black & White game series is the same, at least 3 holders: Peter Molyneux, Electronic Arts and Microsoft. And that website is just a facade behind the sinister plan for re-releasing Black & White games.

no link but one can google "nolf revival" (I'll keep this name here unless GOG asks me to remove it). and the site is still up so I guess not enough people care.
