Cant say I'm all too interested in getting the Witcher, but Cyberpunk 2077 has been on my radar for awhile. Now that the Witcher is out, will we be getting some more solid facts about it?

Sooner or later, but not during this flurry of Witcher release excitement I should think.

I'm going to talk about Cyberpunk 2077 in this topic, because I fear if I say something in the official Cyberpunk 2077 forums I will get banned by those hard ass moderators like Guy N' Wah and Dragonbird. They ban people fast for no reason too.

I hope you guys don't mind.

I think we will get Cyberpunk 2077 news after June 2015. Right now it all belongs to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

I'm not expecting Cyberpunk 2077 to be released for sale in 2015 at all like they said back in 2013.

Either Spring 2016 or Summer 2016. Fall 2016 or 2017 would suck.

Showing off video games years early especially 3 years early sucks.

As for Cyberpunk 2077, I hope it takes some while, because I'll need at least a year to finish TW3 :)

I thought different team was working on Cyberpunk 2077, if it isn't a different team then we'll have to wait a year until expansions are out.

According to CDPR, they do have a different team working on Cyberpunk 2077, they just "don't talk about it"...

CD Projekt Red, developer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has said it isn't planning to talk about its next game, Cyberpunk 2077, until 2017 at the earliest.
The closest direct quotation to that statement in the article is:
"We hope and we are certain that Cyberpunk has even bigger commercial potential," he said. "It is too early to talk about it, though."

"This year, and the next one will be the years of the Witcher," he added.
I'm hoping the Gamespot journalist has just put an exaggerated gloss on what CDPR said. (The quotation was reported by Reuters, then picked up by Gamespot.)

Frankly I kinda doubt it (and yes, I know that that's a quote from CDP, not your opinion). I may be totally wrong but I'm under the impression that almost by definition a cyberpunk themed game has less mainstream appeal than a fantasy game like The Witcher even if it's potentially far more attractive to "hardcore" gamers.

I'm hoping they'll at least give us some sort of update on it for E3. Originally, they said not to expect a release until late 2016 or early 2017 initially, but I'd like to hear SOMETHING about it. There's too many unfounded rumors floating around that it's been canceled. (I don't buy that, as I think Pondsmith would have said something if true.)

Honestly I had no interest in the game... until I saw Spoony talk about it and refer to the preview/teaser, then I can't help but be seriously interested because it felt so much like ghost in the shell to a degree, and I love ghost in the shell...

Yeah, since TW3 is out and once final bugs are squashed (if any) I'd love to see 2077 next.
