One of my favourite games on the Playstation 2/XBOX era. One of the few games to really scare the shit out of me. Three great games that stopped for me at number 4 for obvious reasons.

Anyone else got a love for the Doll Shrines and Broken Neck Lady?

I enjoyed them as well, although I've only played the first two.

The third game is more of the same. Well worth the time if you get a copy.

I really liked the first one. It seemed more realistic (yeah, I know), darker and scarier. I didn't like the second and third one as much. Broken Neck Lady... that first time she appears. Also, when she charges...

I agree, I really really liked the sequels but the first had a nice rough down to earth quality which (in my opinion) made it far scarier.

Those are titles that made me regret I've never owned a console. Like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus or Okami.

You can play them via PS2 emulator. :D

Why can't some developer make a remake of that game or make a pc version ?

It would sell like crazy.

I think it's not really the same. Though I've played Silent Hill 1 on ePSX and it worked really well (means me -> scared shitless).:-)

Japanese developers don't like DRM mostly. So even if they make a pc version, it is not coming to gog.

While the 4th game was never translated, the 5th one should be released on 30 October (just in time for the Halloween) across Europe. Of course, that assumes that you have a Wii U or are prepared to make such an investment.

believe me it makes no difference at all. You can make it look exactly the same.
If I can get money together I will definitely be getting one assuming it is any good.

It's like an e-reader vs actual books.

Explain that one to me because I use my PS/PS2 discs on my PC. I am still using the physical product and a very similar controller. Saving the game works exactly the same. I'm guessing you've never really experienced it. It is no different with the exception most games play better.
