Xenoplant777: I don't watch much anime. I hate the new stuff.

noir_7: Moe has twisted anime for sure but theres plenty old and new worth watching.

Trigun, Berserk, Full Metal Panic, FLCL, Rahxephon, Ghost in the Shell, Hellsing, Serial Experiments Lain, Psycho-Pass, From the New World, Kino's Journey, Basilisk, Haibane Renmei, Last Exile, Requiem from the Darkness, Steins;Gate, Code Geass, Boogiepop Phantom, Excel Saga, Akira, Strawberry Marshmallow, Mushishi, Battle Angel, Jin-Roh, Bodacious Space Pirates, Fate/Stay Night, Heroic Age, The Twelve Kingdoms, Claymore, Samurai 7, Gunslinger Girl, Death Note, Paranoia Agent, Gantz, When They Cry...etc...
There are just a few titles that I actually own physical copies of. There is plenty more but these are more universally popular titles.

Didn't bother listing Studio Ghibli titles. They're required watching for anybody weather they are a anime fan or not.
I've never seen a Studio Ghibli movie. I will now proceed to staple my head to a ceiling fan....

Trigun, Ghost in the Shell, Steins Gate, Code Geass, Akira, Death Note, and Samurai 7 are all ones that I've heard are good. I just don't like new anime because 1. The animation looks too clean. I like the roughness of old anime, like Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop and 2. All the new shit is waifu this, waifu that, husbando there, buy your waifu in figurine form. Some of the new stuff doesn't seem like there is a story. I like the stuff that lasts 26 episodes.

Fomalhaut30: Re:Zero - It starts out as another one of the guy-gets-teleported-to-a-fantasy-world shows, but gets really dark fairly quick. Toss in a Groundhog Day-esque mechanic just for added fun. It's good and I want to see where the story is going, but damn.... It's up to episode 16 on Crunchyroll.

Pheace: D: I thought the series had stopped at 13! Downloading :D
Man i cant believe the amount of bitching people have about <insert anime> --- some hated this series. I find it entertaining and im happy its still ongoing (amazing the number of actual good ones which stop at 12 or 13 and thats it...)
Second season of Food Wars (Shokugeki no Soma) has started. It's up to like episode 4 or so. It seems to be moving a lot quicker than season one.
Slightly off topic, but:

Grisaia no Kajitsu 3/10

From what I remember, the second season is going to be only 13 episodes long, whereas the first season was 24 episodes.
Just finished Boku no Hero Academia, definitely liked it.
Watching FMA: Brotherhood. Up to eps 10 or so.

HOMUNKURUSU :V

I started watching Ao no Exorcist, 3 episodes in. It is promising so far, a typical shounen but with a twist on almost everything.

omega64: Yeah, didn't really like the ending to Sankarea but at least it ended. ;)
Just finished reading it, I didn't think the ending was too bad, it probably would've been even better without the last 5 or so pages but overall I liked it.

The zoma arc was pretty bad though. I hate that particular plot device.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned earlier (the thread is a few years old) but I saw Upotte! (spelling?) and it was pretty humorous despite certain appeals to certain perverted demographics but I think it was trying to parody that.

Basically, it is about personified guns trying to become better guns and the characters are depicted as parodies as certain features of these guns. The personification of the M16 does chores in short rapid bursts of energy but then has to take a brief break which represents the M16A4's three round burst. One character keeps getting sick which represents the gun's design and manufacturing flaws. Also, they can summon their respective guns from thin air and engage in sparring matches with them. One of the funnier things is how the instructors of the school they attend are personifications of older guns like "Professor Garand."

Oddly enough, the show actually has some measure of actual data on select-fire weaponry like range and origin.
<span class="bold">The Boy and the Beast</span>

It starts a bit slow but i enjoyed it and i like the characters. If you like Mamoru Hosoda's previous movies this one is well worth watching.
I watched the first 2 minutes of this video 2h ago. Now, I've just finished watching episode 5 of 91 Days.
Want a romantic anime with a bit of future manipulation involved? Then watch Orange: http://myanimelist.net/manga/35573/Orange

Just finished watching all 3 Berserk films.
They're pretty good, not perfect but a lot better than the new anime.
At least the action looks good in these. ;P
