Nope, a good ratio of info and vague I found.

Interesting, I'll have to remember to watch one of those someday!

I feel I should revise my answer a little bit. It's probably less about the "intent or of delivering a soothing experience" and more about having a soothing effect of the viewer. It may seem like a small distinction, but I think a work of fiction may fall into the genre regardless of the author's intent. Though obviously we end up with the issue of different people having different reactions to a particular anime/manga.

Whenever I try to look up a definition of what Iyashikei really is, I keep coming across multiple slightly different definitions. That said, there are some works that most people agree fall into this "sub-genre", and you might have seen some of them already. Small list of ones that I've watched/read off the top of my head:

Aria
Amanchu!
Non Non Biyori
Barakamon
Mushishi
Natsume Yuujinchou
Tamayura
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou
Yotsuba to!
If anyone here wants to see up coming shows and stuff still in TBA status here is a cool site I found a few years back when I got back into anime.

Neither do I. Do you write them down so you can more easily compile a list like your top ten or is there some other special reason?

Yes, also the reason why I'm always keen to hear every viewer's personal thoughts on the matter. Seeing Yotsuba on your list reminds me of Azumanga Daioh, have you watched/read it? Would you put it under the same category?

Yeah, that's a nice one. Which reminds me, I should put up a list on Winter stuff later.

I have watched it. Azumanga Daioh is more of a straight up comedy (and a great one at that!). Still, I can see how it could be considered "Iyashikei", even if it's not its primary focus.

Have you seen Cromartie High School? I would say it was a side show right next to azumanga back at that time and is priceless comedy :)

I'm familiar with the name but never got around to giving it a watch. From looking up a few clips on YT, it seems to have potential. Might watch it once I'm done with Tamayura.

Comedy is a though genre. It can be very hit or miss. For example Gintama's comedy just doesn't work for me. Leaves me completely stone-faced. Nichijou is a mixed bag, with some hilarious gags and also quite a lot that fall flat. Azumanga Daioh is probably the one that's been the most consistently good among those I've watched. Excel Saga was also pretty great overall, though it had its share of "meh" episodes.

Remember, these rankings were done before any of the shows aired. In other ways, it's more 'hype' than an actual assessment of those anime. However, it's always interesting to know what's coming up and which has the potential.
Going thru iyashikei-list at tvtropes does seem to have have familiar series. It probably is small but looks good for start.

Some what I have seen/read from there:

Aiura
Ah! My Goddess -- (I guess it can go to this genre. Manga is total spacehogger in shelve.)
AQUA/ARIA -- (Those art books are great.)
Azumanga
Binchou-tan -- (Everyday life of Binchou-tan and her friends, short 10 minute episodes and 4koma manga, good)
Golden Sky Stories -- (Japanese tabletop RPG that focuses non-violent role-playing one of few tabletop RPG that's been translated.)
Haibane Renmei
Hidamari Sketch
Is the Order a Rabbit? -- (This seems to go to "cute girls doing cute things"-category that seems to be a thing in iyashikei. Good series and manga is nice too.)
K-On! -- (More "cute girls doing cute things".)
Non Non Biyori
Sketchbook
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (10/10, would/(need to) read again)
Yotsuba&!

Some series found elsewhere:

Kokoro Toshokan (Anime & Manga both are good. Manga consist from short 5-7 page long story chapters while anime did have 1 story/episode. Can't remember right because it's so long since I watched it.)

(Dohh, needed some edit)

I only have lists for rpg maker games i finished and anime.None list about all the normal games finished which i wished to do that so i would know how many games i've beaten.
Anyway the reason i do it is to easily see which anime i've seen which year and how many i've seen each year and how many have been seen through the whole time of me watching anime. Also it's easier with this after like seeing 271 anime all together to have a better overview, i even write down if the version was tv or dvd or bluray version with tv it usually means censored and uncensored version of dvd or bluray dependable on the anime.
So yes in the end i wish i would have watched more anime, but i am more gaming and my pc isn't getting any better,so i haven't tried watching 720p bluray versions with smplayer in a while, the only program that made anime run clean enough with a certain command.

Oh dude its short as hell for a series but its well worth the watch, the comedy is top notch right next to azumanga, so when you get the time please watch it and see what you have really been missing haha :P
