It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

JDelekto: Gotta love the government... I wonder how that makes people feel riding on Amtrak. :)

rtcvb32: Reminds me when there were internet worms and viruses so bad it shut down half the businesses (including trains) and Microsoft began to take security more seriously for their OSes.
Doesn't surprise me at all.

darthspudius: Only people that willingly use IE are the computer illiterate.

grimwerk: No, we're deeply spiritual people. It's a form of penance. Like self-flagellation, or a hair shirt.

I'd explain in greater detail, but I can't see the right hand side of my screen.

I'm... not... using... Firefox.

nightcraw1er.488: Internet explorer, what do you expect.

hedwards: He's just lucky it didn't give him AIDS.
Assisted Internet Destruction Software, indeed, had forgotten about that.
Even Microsoft have given up on IE now; so you've got no excuse.

OldFatGuy: I posted about this before, but it keeps moving further and further right every time it happens (kind of like the governments of the world)....

Won't be long before I won't be able to see the specials at all. lol
Why *are* you using IE though? Is there any specific reason behind it or nostalgia?

stg83: How many times have people told you OFG for the love of GOG, stop using Internet Explorer. Even Microsoft fanboys like Elenarie don't use that browser. ;)
I'm a little surprised he hasn't shown up to bash Americans and remind everybody that MS' love is eternal.

He's got an excuse. He's on Windows 7, and Microsoft gave up on IE in Windows 10. No matter what you say, the latest iteration is a good browser.

I prefer IE to Edge personally. I used it for my Bing Rewards and found it more convenient since Edge lacks add-ons/bars still. :P

So you've shifted completely to GOG now, eh?

Who cares? This was for OldFatGuy xD.

What I find hilarious in this thread is the fact that everybody is bashing IE, while the problem is gog's. I know this because despite the literally thousands of clicks on other sites, there is not a single one that this happens on.

So, you know, because gog's website didn't do a good job of making their site IE compatible, it's IE's fault.

And no hedwards, I'm not a MS lover. AT ALL. Quite the contrary. I use IE because it's convenient but mostly because it's the only one that works right with a baseball game that I play all the time. I will, however, happily bash Americans if you like. Where would you like me to begin?

hedwards wasn't referring to you OFG and neither was I, no one said that you love MS. Also my post was meant to be a joke (hence the wink) because if you're comfortable with using IE and it works fine for you then no one can force you to use anything else. Well now that I know the main reason you stick with IE so won't be telling you to stop using it joking or otherwise. :)

Yep, MaximumBunny. I got sick of Steam, so I changed the gear right into GOG. However, I still do find Trader's Guild useful in regards to making trades, if only to get DRM-free games in the end.

That said, Edge is a bit of a crashy at the moment, yet I still seem to use it. It reloads pages, like, really well on startup, which makes Edge's crashes less of an issues. Still IE11 is pretty good.

I'm willing to take a bet that OldFatGuy is not even interested in Firefox. There are better browsers out there if he doesn't want IE11 (most probably not), namely Chrome.

No. Because there are other freely available browsers and many of them have been better than IE for over a decade now.
