I never understood the love for cricket if im honest, soccer/football too for that matter.

I was just thinking about this earlier while staring across the river at my local stadium. My favorite time of year too; everything comes back to life and it's outdoor beer drinking weather (which I'm doing right now).

I have never seen Baseball match other than that Goofy cartoon.
Here cricket is big deal.

It would be awesome if baseball was a big deal over here.
Rugby, cricket and soccer are religions over here, but I only care for the first one. Cricket, except perhaps T20s and one day internationals, is too boring for me. There are few things worse than going to a braai on a saturday with the tv channel on some god forsaken cricket match that doesn't let up for hours. It's as if the boredom permeates the very walls of the house :P

[Dusting off my MLB games] ... you can't actually buy these games in Sweden, on disc anyway. I've always had to order my baseball games from the UK or elsewhere. Yet for some reason you can buy Madden games here, which is odd since American Football is not a popular sport in Sweden, as far practicing it goes.
