additional information:

----- Time to Trust ----- most of these games are all on ----- ONE CODE ----- (True AMALGAMATION!) ----- This GA will have multiple (an amalgamation of!) winners! This means that if you win a game you must only redeem the game(s) that you have won, and leave the other games on the code for the other winners to redeem!

...if you're a meanie or clumsy or whatever and redeem the wrong games, that will not have been good and nice and I will cry and say mean things too probably...

Terraria is on its own code. (so, this giveaway has both a prize solo and a prize to be trusted+shared, more amalgamation! Thanks again, amrit!!!

Thank you for the additional info.

drealmer7: Again, thanks for the story+details! Have you played PS:T yet? If Arcanum and Fallout 1+2 are so highly held by you and if you haven't, I strongly recommend it. I also highly recommend Inquisitor, which while it has different combat mechanics than the others mentioned here, its RP-ability is top notch quality like Arcanum, Fallout, and PS:T.
I think I've loved PS:T ever since I saw the promo art, shortly before it was released. There was a topic recently on favorite RPGs here, and the top three on my list were: Arcanum, Fallout (2), PS:T. I'm excited about the recent "inheritors", such as Age of Decadence, Underrail, and even Pillars of Eternity, not to mention the new Torment game.

But Inquisitor I haven't played. I've been thinking about it on and off ever since it was released here on GOG, but I think I finally decided against it when I saw how they did the combat. I was instantly reminded of Lionheart, which also had a pretty interesting setting, but the combat was almost like playing some unrelated game.

drealmer7: Unfortunately I don't have copies of the old versions that used to be on here to give away, and so no goodies included in these Fallouts. But, at least the base games are available! You are entered for 1+2
Thanks! I just say, I hate what Bethesda has done to F1/2 here. :(
I hope GOG manages to get the lost extras.
Thanks for the GA +1
Also thanks for the new word.

I too am not one that frequents forums until recently, around the beginning of fall this year. They are fun, but the time investment...

Oh, I was trying to figure out how to use amalgamate in a sentence(a new word for me). It is a pretty fun word. However, amalgamating sentences into a fine constructed amalgamation worthy of a story, is not one of my strong suits.

I'm in
So, in my most concise and articulate manner, I would like to introduce some demons to amalgamated rounds from my boomstick, particularly demons from "The Ultimate Doom " , and next will be " Doom II + Final Doom" after the first set of demons has had their share. They barely eluded me on that sale I just missed.
There's nothing better than to have a cool day, a day where everything works just fine, things you need done get done and overall you're surrounded by good things that make you think of how wonderful is to be alive!

I'm really happy for you oh lord of AMALGAMATION!

Considering how much GOGitry is being put into this GA I'd like to enter for DOOM II + Final DOOM and The Ultimate DOOM.

EDIT: I'm only in for one of the games above, If I win the first then completely disregard my sencond pick.

AMALGAMATE!! I MEAN THANKS ONCE AGAIN! +1!

hyperagathon: ...Inquisitor...
I should have grabbed a copy last it was on sale to be in this GA!

Inquisitor's combat isn't atrocious or completely unrewarding by any means. Some of the mobs and encounters are fun and well-done in ways and unique/creative. It just has a LOT of potion-quaffing and is HARD HARD HARDer than it should be. Imo, it should ONLY be played on easy unless you are a hard hardcore masochist of painful gaming. It's the only game I've ever played on EASY, and it is still hard.

Its good qualities far exceed the drawbacks of the combat and bugs and is definitely worth playing if you like the qualities of: great atmosphere, story, RPing elements, dark and mature themes, and great music too.

I was on the fence about it for a long time and eventually took the leap and am sooo glad I did.

hyperagathon: ...other newer rpgs...
I've just spent a couple hours playing UnderRail and it is really engaging and good so far. Great skills, a unique and rich atmosphere with great sound+music to enhance it all, and good gameplay. It's showing much potential.

I backed the new Torment game, and hope it to be exceptional, but am trying to not get to excited about it either. I also am not following it at all, I like to remain in the dark.

I will eventually play PoE once I both expansion have been out for quite some time and all the updates + patches/fixes are implemented. I look forward to it, but it will be quite some time until I get to it I think.

I highly recommend Wasteland 2 too. I think it is very good, and probably better than PoE will be by my pre-judgements of that from what I've seen.

Age of Decadence looks phenomenal! Stellar! A must-not-miss, I think! I definitely look forward to playing it eventually!

Oh yeah, also, I'm also recently getting a bit further into Gothic and it is shaping up to be a top RPG for me too. As I've said elsewhere!

B)

UnderRail is quite a gem, it got finally released after a beautification process of the first levels and some end game dialogues before it could finally shine, let me tell you the changes were awesome!

The game is a good spiritual successor to Black Isle's master works!

drealmer7: Too late you already said no!!

kidding...

There's no hype, it's all well-deserved praise! Don't build yourself up with expectations though. It is never good to do that for anything, because it most always will lead to disappointment.

Some useful words of fore-knowledge about the game:

Fallout 1 can be a little "finicky" to get a feel for and get into because of some of the "clunk" factor. The thing is, I'm so familiar with it that there isn't any clunk for me when I play it, and, with a little time invested, the "clunk" really does disappear. It is almost unfair to a call it a "clunk factor", but for a good number of players coming to it, that is what it will be. Learn it, be patient, give it some time, and you will be fine and enjoying everything else the game has to offer. It just operates differently than most games and takes a bit of learning of how to operate/function smoothly. A little inventory management to get used to. A little follower-mechanics to get used to. There's an initial open-ness that can be slightly off-putting (you really do feel just like the character is written - out of your element dumped into an unknown world where you don't really know what is in store or how to do about doing what needs done.)

*know* that there are lots of people who *know* the game inside and out around, and we/they will be glad to help you with anything you need, and actually most issues and angles have been covered previously and you will probably find it helpful to just check out the subforums and read varying topics of discusssion re: Fallout 1+2.
Sometimes I try out games just because they seem famous/classic/historically significant to the history of gaming. I like to be a well-rounded person. But hey, if somebody else gets it, I won't be mad.

That's a great way to be, definitely! And the Fallouts are a good to choose for warming into RPGs, as long as you are patient in learning what they have as I said. And if you take to certain aspects of it (like the story, dialogues, rich atmosphere, skill variety, and general role-play-ability) there are bound to be other games that differ quite a bit but suit your tastes that you might like to try. Good luck to you!
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this, but I'd like to make an entry for AccurateArt for the Fallout and Doom games because the poor guy got scammed out of a good deal of games and the Fallout/Doom series is what he wanted in exchange. Please put his name in the list of entrants as well.

drealmer7: from GOG:

"The Elder Scrolls: Arena and The Elder Scrolls Chapter II: Daggerfall are added to the individual Bethesda products, so the person who redeems the base game will also get the two Elder Scrolls ones... if the individual base games are redeemed separately, each recipient will get the Elder Scrolls games."

So, that means if there is 1 winner for Fallout 1 and a separate winner for Fallout 2, the 2 winners each receive copies of Arena and Daggerfall. Just to be clear on how that goes. That actually seems logical/obvious now looking at it, actually...I think maybe I was just slightly confused also because of myself already having the Fallout 1 and 2 classics of old GOG release in my account, but not the "new" 1 and 2, and so wasn't sure how it was going to go, but, yep, anyway, onward!!!
Not in. (I own all of the above)

Just an FYI, the Doom games will also each award the two Elder Scrolls freebies as well by my understanding. So conceivably, each of 4 winners could be getting these freebies (assuming they don't yet own any other Bethesda games - remember the "free" Fallouts were Interplay). But I wouldn't worry too much about it, most everyone should end up with these freebies eventually as any ownership of Doom, Quake, Elder Scrolls, Wolfenstein or the new Fallouts om Gog will enable them.

Thanks for the thought for the person but I'd like anyone who wants to win any of these games to enter for themselves. You can point him to this thread so he can enter, or, as I was going to suggest previously but now see you have done, point him towards TCGA thread and he can see how he fares there. If he's quick, and depending, maybe the enormous generosity of the community and moonss will allow him to grab one of the games he got scammed from this month in Dec., and then another of them once the month switches to Jan. But he's (?) still definitely welcome to enter here!

RWarehall: ... Doom games will also each award the two Elder Scrolls freebies as well ...
Right you are! Thanks very much for pointing that out! Heh, that is how much I bothered to look at the DOOM pages! Funny, it never even occurred to me to look at them/read them or anything, since I know the games so well. Also, my brain just doesn't link Bethesda+ID at all.
I'd definitely love to enter in for any of the Doom games. These were among the first games I'd played growing up and I'd love to add them to my GOG library if possible (I had been eyeing the Fallout giveaway, but the nostalgia of Doom keeps pulling me in).

Thank you drealmer7 for the giveaway!

I just read this right now. I think that is very kind of you Zeogold. I honestly had lost a lot of faith in the community, but after I got scammed yesterday, a lot of GOG users stepped up to the plate and have honestly made me feel much better about things. You guys are awesome!

These are the amalgamation of things I'm interested in (in-order starting from the one I'd prefer most)...

- The Ultimate DOOM (a timeless classic!)
- DOOM II + Final DOOM
- The DUKE games, especially Duke3D

NOT in for Fallout 1 & 2 because I already have them and they're wonderful RPG's! The atmosphere is amazing if you have any sense of imagination!

And hah I like the numeric order of rules.
