Taliheim: ini? which ini file? I thought you were just talking about the "Turn Windows Features On or Off" window.
I was, but there's a file in the Alpha Centari folder that may have a [DirectDraw=0] or that line may be missing. Put it in if it's missing, and toggle accordingly.
Make sure to format it according to the rest of the file, exact spacing and case.

ah, got it. Haven't found any .ini file in the folder yet, though, just a fuckton of .cvr and .pcx files.

try creating AlphaCentauri.ini manually. in the same folder where the executable sits. and put the line Darvond told in it.
I guess. have no installed SMAX at the moment.

Actually, it's Alpha Centauri.ini. Space included.

This should back what I was saying.
