Bummer there is no DRM free option....
Why this choice of hyperrealism and the lack of arm/hand to take objects ? It kills my immersion !
its a spiritual successor in a sense......... of similar naming, like silent hills, where the hills are silent, action with environment. now we have Allison road, Allison is the road or road on Allison or the road is named after her.
Looks kinda interesting enough but i'm not in for the kickstarter . I'm not an anti DRM Zealot in general (i use steam and own a few games on it - if i can't get them elsewhere) but well if i'm about to trust a developer on KS and forward him my money for 16 months without any guarantee of the state of the finished game well then i at least want to have it release in the form i prefer (meaning DRM-free) . Well maybe i'm gonna buy the game after it's released and seems the KS campaign is on a really good path anyway
I like how Mac and Linux versions are mentioned along with the Win one in the rewards, but will only be offered on the stated ETA if the first stretch goal is reached.

I'd be very wary to back this if there's a change on their stance on DRM, after the firm statement they've made. At least it won't be regionally locked.

Hi all, we have news!

First some bad news but then some AMAZINGLY good news.

We have decided to withdraw the Kickstarter campaign to allow us to commit 100% to an opportunity that will give us the chance as a team to create the best game possible.

As a newly founded studio, we’ve been completely overwhelmed by your encouragement and huge interest in Allison Road and we’d love to thank each and every one of you for all of the amazing support you have given us during our Kickstarter campaign and beyond. Really incredibly appreciated.

And now the good news, in fact it’s AMAZING news!

We are delighted to announce that we will be joining Team17’s highly successful games label.

If you don’t know who Team17 are, they are most known for their Worms franchise, however, they run a fully independent games label. For us it’s an incredible opportunity to be part of a label that looks after not only such a massive gaming franchise, but also supports developers like Playtonic,Mouldy Toof and many others.

Working with Team17 will give us the chance to make our game unhindered creatively, but at the same time will give us the resources, support and experience that only a 25 year old studio can give.

For all of you that have pledged already for in game rewards, we absolutely promise you that we will look at ways outside of Kickstarter that will allow you to be involved in the game at a later date.

We will be going very quiet for a while as we focus on making Allison Road the best horror experience it possibly can be but do please follow us and Team17 on @Lillithltd & @AllisonRoad_HQ and @team17Ltd for future news.

Shame! The game looked interesting by my standards (and kind of looked like Layers of Fear, pitty it's only on Steam). Would have backed it if there was to be a GOG release.

Crosmando: The last few Silent Hill games were not made by Team Silent.

CharlesGrey: Ah, that explains a thing or two. I've actually only played the first four -- were those, more or less, by the same developer team?
Yes, more or less. Those were great games, and I would love to see them here on GOG.
Have a look at my room :)
