For the first 30 minutes or so I was on board. I chuckled at how her work contract was just extended for another couple of years, effectively binding her to the mines like a serf - it's something that I would totally expect to happen in a Mars colony ruled by King Elon.
For a moment I thought we might get some fun world-building there.
But when they digitally dug up Ian Holm from his grave (completely unnecessarily), the movie began to lose me rather quickly. Quality-wise his animation was even worse than the ones we've seen in the later Star Wars movies; his eyes twitched weirdly as he was talking.
And then came the exact copies of scenes from earlier movies, down to exact quotes!
2/5 - Wouldn't rewatch, for the most part this one has already been made before - and better.
[Edit:] I was impressed by the theatre audience, though - it was actually dead quiet during the intro! No bottles clinging, no phones shining, nobody crunching their crips as loudly as possible.
