Well lucky for me I found my old AoE disc as well as my old AoE2 disc as well (yes physical copy) and both work on Win 8.1 without installing patches or updates!
Still, I would LOVE to see the AoE trilogy as well as the Empire Earth games and Rise of Nations.
Seems like Steam has the lionshare of the best games while GOG is still catching up... but I use GOG for old classics and Steam for newest releases (except for Witcher 3 which i have on GOG thanks to my new GTX 960 :D )
