I know sports and sports-related games aren't the most popular on GOG generally speaking, but the upcoming All Elite Wrestling game looks like an incredible arcade-like fighting experience in the style of classic pro wrestling games of 20+ years ago. It is notably published by THQ Nordic who bring many games to GOG.
On the official website when I looked, it advertises "PC" release, rather than just "Scheme" a la many games. So that's somewhat hopeful. However, when I looked further, the only non-Scheme option for PC was an Amazon link to a DVD-rom, which isn't available and potentially may never even materialize.
The game is also set up to have frequent updates and DLC, rather than being a "full definitive complete product" at launch (though I know people/the companies will argue it is "complete" and anything new is a "bonus"). In any case, there are games that continue to get updated on GOG so that is not necessarily a barrier, imo..
Anyone else hoping for this game to arrive DRM-free on GOG? If so, please consider adding your vote to the wishlist: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/aew_fight_forever . I forget where I read this, but in a somewhat recent topic it was alluded to that the Wishlist does have more sway than some of us believed it did.
