One key problem is GOG deciding to NOT inform you whenever a VN is being sold in a censored state.
A bit of transparency would go a long way.
As things are now, one has to do some research every time, just in case it´s an incomplete product one is about to buy. Steam at least offers some uncensor patches now.
I want all my games on GOG, but not if they´re censored, and certainly not under false pretences.
If a game has only partial controller support, for instance, the corresponding tag warns so. It should be the same honesty applied to censorship at least, imo
