Their source is Wall Street Journal and apparently blizzard is under investigation for financial market fraud.

To explain for those not wanting to click: The SEC; Security Exchanges Commission is one of those three letter organizations we're so fond of. What they're doing is investigating to see if the investors had been disclosed as to the nature of getting investigated by the state of California.

And basically if the C-Suite didn't tell the investors, that could be considered a breach & fraud. The SEC does not do any dealings with Criminal Charges; those are left to civilian three letter organizations.

My main takeaway from all this - if you have unfinished StarCraft or StarCraft II campaign, you better start to hurry. The way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard (or Activision-Blizzard) would just be terminated and all the servers shut down.
