I just bought a game key from G2A for Pillars Of Eternity. How do I activate this game within GOG?
Thanks
Step 1: click here

Step 2: Enter code

Step 3: Start new thread demanding refund when your bogus G2A code doesn't work
Thanks for the info. I just hope your wrong on it be refused later. But thanks again.
By purchasing it within GOG.

You can't by anything from GOG outside of GOG, because this directly breaks § 3.3 of TOS.

Also, you have supported a scammer with your money, who steal codes from local key trade and flood the forum.

Well done! (not)

If it doesn't work, get a refund from G2A, and instead wait for a sale on GOG. Key resellers of GOG games are generally considered shady, and sometimes are bought with stolen credit cards (which is why the keys are sometimes rescinded, and then people complain here even though they need to take it up with the reseller not GOG).

Not entirely true. The "no selling" only applies to gift codes, which is what users get. There are also bonus codes, which GOG provides to publishers (and sometimes users).

Learning to recognize the difference between gift codes and bonus codes takes a while, but rule of thumb is that gift codes do not expire, while bonus codes do.

Either way, G2A is not a valid GOG reseller, though it could be that the PoE key is from Kickstarter, but I highly doubt that.

Right there are no legal resellers of keys for GOG games. There are occasional legitimate sources like KS campaigns and gift codes, but you're really not supposed to be buying and selling them. And you're very much at the mercy of the person that acquired the code to have acquired them legitimately and for them to still be valid.
I'm still waiting for my copy of: Day of the Tentacle

I bought it 30000 years ago (before the third reckoning-(funtimes)) --so, that entitles me to a copy on every platform conceived before and from now on. Past, previous AND future.

Ahem.
Ahem 2.
Ahem 3.
Not so sure if this is ahem 4, and not really in the mood to check it.

When did that happen? For years they didn't allow any reselling.

Retro City Rampage had that option from the start from what I recall, so, October 2012?
And this is not reselling. This is selling. RCR is the publisher selling codes, while Amazon, uPlay and Origin are stores selling the codes the publisher gave to them.
Those are not gift codes a user bought from GOG and sold elsewhere, those are bonus codes GOG gave the publisher to do with as they please.
Step 1: Do not buy from G2A
Step 2: How many times do we have to fucking say this?

Apparently N+1 where N is approaching infinity.
What the hell is G2A anyway? My nephew is always talking about it, apparently he buys stuff there. Are they known for being scams?

G2A is a store, and a marketplace. So you can sell your games there, and they do seem to sell retail codes from boxes bought in different regions, but the marketplace part means it's a lovely place to unload codes that will be revoked down the road.

Think of it like buying a car in a county festival. You may get a good deal, or you may have someone else's car.
