Hi,

I started playing games on Gog, but the problem is that achievements not working properly.
Actually its total luck.

For example i played Metro 2033 Redux, and many ones that require X kills not unlocking, although i have met the requirements.
In the last one, Outlast 2, none achievement is unlocking, even the story ones.

I started buying games on Gog but if the trophies are broken, thats a reason to continue on steam where such simple things are solved.

Hello,

If no achievements work, make sure the game executable has access through your firewall. Also ensure the same for the GOG Galaxy executables, which are spread in C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy and C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy. Of the latter, I don't know for sure which ones need Internet access, since there's no support article on the topic or anything.

If specific achievements don't work, check the game's forum for a solution. If there's nothing there, search the web. The bug is sometimes common to all platforms.

Personally, I can only recall 4 games with bugged achievements. I still managed to get 100% with enough patience and perseverance. For the most part, achievements have unlocked instantly without issue.

For start i ve uninstalled and re installed gog galaxy. I ll try this and see.

Reading the posts in the Outlast 2 subforum, it seems that the game's achievements are all broken. If so, the only way to fix it is to contact the developers and hope they respond.

For Metro, if you've already started playing it, you probably need to delete the config file and start over as explained in some of the sub threads.

Now, i have started Hellpoint and all seems to work perfectly. Maybe its random, but in the stats i see that there are some players that have unlocked achievements in Outlast 2.
Anyways, thank u all for the info and help.

I have the same problem with some endgame achievements not unlocking in X-Com Enemy Unknown (2012), while finishing campaign on classic difficulty in Enemy Within:
Guardian of Earth
An Army of four
Earth First

Shadow of Mordor GOTY, beated the main story, last two achievements and one from the beginning aren't unlocked, that's unnerving

It's not listed in the List of broken GOG Achievements thread and I don't see anything about those specific achievements in the game forum.
If you have the patience for it, you can try a clean playthrough as described for another achievement that someone else couldn't unlock.

Achievements can fail to unlock if your Internet connection momentarily goes down, or if GOG servers are down (a rare occurrence). Unfortunately, most of the time they don't unlock when you get back online.

Lots of Achievements for many GOG games are broken and simply do not work. Outlast 2 is definitely one of those games.

EDIT: Just noticed this thread is a necro.

EDIT 2: Shadow of Mordor definitely has some bugged Achievements on GOG. For example, I completed many bow missions, yet the Achievement for completing just one bow mission never unlocks for me. And it definitely has nothing whatsoever to do with "my internet going down" nor "GOG's servers going down." Rather, the problem is the Achievement is bugged.

Oh I don't think I have the strenght to replay everything again. But I tried doing some specific ones and still nothing. My internet works fine

Uhm no, I got really frustrated after the 5th attempt to unlock one and uninstalled it. Moved to the sequel now, wich doesn't have any (luckly I must say if that's the whole experience)
