Is there a way to prevent my achievements from being vomited onto feed?

I tend to play new games a lot, and I think people who see my feed would appreciate it if they didn't get inundated with multiple posts of my baby step achievements in new games every time.
Maybe the problem is getting an achievement for just starting the game at all and shit like that.

I'd also like to turn off the notifications in-game as well. I don't mind them in general, especially the actual hard achievements, but having them pop-up kind of breaks immersions sometimes.

Click on the pinky logo located in the top-left corner of the Galaxy.
You will find there all the settings you may want to uncheck, like overlay for notifications, achievements..

I remember one I saw, went along the lines of: "Achievement: successfully left the training area!" Well, no shit. It's called regular progress through the game and if you can't manage that one then you're hopelessly stuck. Why waste my time and your programming effort to note that?

I have my profile poop turned off or max private or whatever it's called. Does it not offer options to turn on and off which info goes into the feed / profile? All-or-nothing?

Edit: dur, I always forget about Galaxy. Nevermind the question.
