Hello. I am currently facing a heap of launching issues with games such as Sanitariu, ALL of the "gold box" Forgotten Realms collection, Alone in the Dark collection, in general all the games that require DosBox and/or Windows 98/XP. The games simply do not launch: sometimes giving error message (i.e. Sanitarium), sometimes simpy "blinking" to DosBox and nothing more. I obviously reinstalled GOG Galaxy, tried to prevent cloud savngs synchro, reinstaled all of the games many times, checked updates&drivers: nothing worked. My system is a Acer laptop with Intel core i7 (2,20 Ghz), Nvidia 850 M + Intel Graphics 4600 (Yes: I tried selecting both graphic processor SEPARATELY and make specific configuration with Nvidia control panel. Nothing good happened), 16 Gb ram, Windows 8.1 (64bit). Please, provide some kind of assistance. Thank you.

Is it actually a Galaxy issue or something else? Did a previous version work? When did you update? Please try without Galaxy. Also, check out the official support channel.

Yes, I think so: everything worked smooth&fine up 'til some months ago. Now it's all crippled: right now Galaxy (fresh new install) is trying to update games files and it's sistematically failing with older games (Elder Scrolls, Anvil of Dawn, System Shock etc etc). Some other games, even if are phisically installed and "reckoned" by library, are prevented from launch or modifications of settings/parameters 'cause Galaxy says "Error: game not installed". It's kinda domino effect: don't know what else to try.
