The first sounded like just my thing, but I never got it as the story apparently lacked closure.
Great!
I tried replaying the first one last year, but I seriously don't remember if I finished the replay.

Hopefully the sequel will be much more interesting and engaging.

That's unexpected. I really enjoyed the first one, but never bought a copy on GOG because seeing it just reminded me that It was never going to be finished. Or so I thought. Hopefully they can actually get to the end of the story this time.
I did the exact opposite because I wanted the story to be concluded. I bought a hard copy on release, then on Steam and then on GOG.
Honestly, I don't see myself buying it. The first one was ok, a nice enough point & click but not anything special, and even though it wasn't that long ago that I played it, I already barely remember anything about it, and don't feel any need to replay it. So a sequel? Maybe if it was available right when I finished the first one, but now... thanks, bu I think I'd rather pick up any other of the many point & clicks on my wishlist.
I played the first one.
I found it to be a rather 'bloodless' experience.
Therefore, this news doesn't get my blood quite as pumping, as it might have otherwise.

shrug

But maybe - if the reviews are good enough...I will bite.
Thanks for that link.
I had totally forgotten, that they delisted the first game from GOG in May 2022:

It's available now in the Halloween sales on Steam and Zoom (and you can wishlist this new one on Steam).

Yeah - I probably won't buy this one.

Hopefully they bring the first game back on GOG.
