No offense , but i think you got the email about the removal request from the publisher a few days ago and not today .

Why didn't warn us earlier ? ( when the game was on sale )
Why the delisting threads are so well hidden in the general discussion forum instead of the front page or the news section ?
The game has also been delisted from steam.
I don't know the reasons... but it would be nice if some publisher had decided to acquire the rights and work on a sequel/closure to the game.
They should deslist games when they are on sale, would sell more.

With this movement i lost the hope to see here Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island.
Wasn't on the store very long, like 1.5 years.

That would be quite nice.

Somebody might create a "A Vampyre Story (bring it back to GOG)" wishlist entry or similar.
I hope this means something good for this lovely and unlucky IP.

The CEO of ZP, from which the game was also delisted, mentioned this ~2 hours ago:

It would seem it isn't a permanent removal, at least in some places.
My guess is that some rights needed to be sorted out so the game could stay up for sale.

You have zero evidence of that. There have been complaints about short notices before, and the answer is always that they delist as soon as the publisher asks. Not to mention it's already completely unavailable on Steam; you can still buy it on GOG. "No offense," but I think you like to make crap up so you can be outraged for the sake of being outraged. It's not like you were going to buy this.

That sounds like good news. I probably wouldn't hold my breath until the rerelease finally happens. There were cases where games got pulled from GOG because of "IP ownership change" and did not return for years(Trickstyle).
For some reason the new publisher suddenly thinks "Hey, this 10-15 year old game was on a DRM-free platform for years. Let's remove it and put it up exclusively on a DRM'd store just for the lulz". I hope i am wrong tho. Cheers

I understand your frustration, but we're doing our best to inform users about a delisting as soon as possible. As for the threads, the majority requested the thread to be a sticky for better visibility to them.

Might I suggest a delisting sale, when it's legally possible?
It would be better for those that would be interested in the game, and it could also provide GOG a few more sales.
Now I'm deeply grateful that I've picked the game up just a few days ago, when it was on sale for 1,99€. Oh well, every point & click adventure game delisting is a true tragedy. RIP.

Amen to that. :/

I suggest to have a QUESTION thread (yellow egg) for better visibility or STICKY (red-orange egg) but with DELISTING: Game name in thread name.

Question thread with Solved mark would also mark the end of Delisting.
Sticky thread with DELISTNG in capital lettets would certainly attract more GOG users, so far I nearly missed all of them.

Ordinary Sticky thread is not that visible. Try for yourself and see my point.

Glad to hear the delisting should be temporary.
