Hi, I was just wondering if there was anyone here who's been having trouble with 80 Days by Inkle. I love playing this gem of a game on mobile phone so you can imagine how much it thrilled me to hear that Inkle were releasing a PC port of it. I grabbed the game here on Gog but now I'm confronted by an unforeseen roadblock which is that the ruddy thing won't even load when I try to start it. I've tried re-installing it but to no avail. If the information is useful, I'm using a laptop. Can anyone throw me a lifeline because I feel like I'm drowning here?

Have you contacted support with your problem?
They're not the quickest but usually sort things out.

Does the installation folder have a redist folder?
Try installing the stuff in there if so.

Hmm, I tracked down the support section which is dedicated to 80 Days and it offers me a bunch of suggestions for what to try in the event of the game crashing when I attempt to launch it. I guess I could give a few of these a whirl and see if they help straighten out my sticky situation.

Thank you for the suggestions, guys. By the way, the game always crashes on the loading screen. It comes up and then does nothing until I try clicking my mouse curse which is when it turns grey and informs me that the programme isn't responding.
