Plokite_Wolf: What are your favourite memories from playing this game?
Playing against my brother in LAN and getting overrun by tanks thanks to me not knowing (or even imagining) that you can use multiple production buildings...

It's sad that my original disc is no more, ever since a friend of mine damaged it beyond repair (still have Red Alert 2 though).
Was Red Alert 2 Uprising as good?
Red Alert 2 was excellent. Its Yuri's Revenge expansion as well.

Red Alert 3 was divisive but was also good. Red Alert 3 Uprising was lackluster, but it can be fun.

I finished it (and the two expansions) a long time ago, and frankly I don't recall much of anything about it, e.g. what kind of units or missions it had and so on. The C&C and Red Alert games I played back then have become somewhat hazy in my mind, I probably mix them up which had what.

I actually remember Tiberian Sun the best, e.g. how the terrain would "break up" from heavy artillery, and that one type of tank or artillery which was quite inaccurate but it could hit enemies from very far. I had fun setting up lots of them and then seeing the enemies increasingly getting damage while trying to reach my base.
Oh man, I got this game for christmas 99, and I even made sure the store ordered a US version for me, screw the german censors. And I wasn't able to wait when I got it a week before. That was a very good week!

But I recently tried the game again and it suuuucks. Half an hour to relive the good memories and laugh about the videos but the gameplay is shiiite.

I remember rocking out to the theme song, loving the cutscenes and playing the shit out of the game. It always lacked the charm, style and music of the original game though.
