phaolo: And Jazzpunk? O_o
I played through it and I had fun with it, but whether you will like it or not strongly depends on your preferences and what you're expecting from it. It's short (I don't remember exactly how short, maybe 2-3 hours) and it mostly consists of walking around, clicking on everything and watching funny stuff happen, with some parodistic minigames thrown in. For some more thoughts on it, see here.

What have you all purchased so far?
I bought The Samaritan Paradox, have looked stupidly to an "expired" screen of Stronghold Crusader when I first visited the site today (was like "YEAHHhhooooohshiiiit" ) and was shortly before buying the Riddick-game(s), don't know why I did not... Maybe due to overfull shelf...hmmm...

jalister: I've been here so long, and have so many games here, that I actually don't expect to buy much this sale. I did by the Mount and Blade collection and AI War. Now if some of those newer games go on sale, that will change how much I spend.

Shaaka: Yeah well my catalogue here was still below 100 games, at first i just buy whatever games i want to play but now well lets say i got GOGaddicted, big sales from GOG means i'm buying quite a few games. Some i might not play until much much later.

And this time of the year, so much promo from GOG
I'm finally doing what I wanted to do when I bought my external hard drive. I'm downloading everything onto it, and then installing them.
for the free copy of Witcher 2 and the movie, If you collect all the stamps but you already own the Witcher 2 do you get a gift code for a game of equal value? Or do you just get a gift code to bestow the Witcher 2 upon somebody else?

apologies if this was addressed already and I just didn't see it.

Yeah good idea, done that already to some games, the one that i usually plays alot, I seems to be switching laptop or PC alot lately so those backup serves me nicely. Just need to download a few games i recently bought in this sales (Grid and Sudeki) and maybe some of those freebies i haven't played and maybe won't play them at all even.

IronArcturus: How is that Teslagrad game? Does it run in a window?
It's a puzzle platformer based on magnetism and, I think, with metroidvania elements (or in any case some non-linear level exploration). I haven't played it a lot yet but it's good (though not outstanding). And I just checked, you can run it in a window, if you like, from 640x480 to 1680x1050.

I found my problem is that with sales like this I buy a game for 1.99 and go, that looks nice. but when I'm decided what to play and I see a 2 gig plus download I don't want to download then install and in three hours play. I go for something else. So I've got 2 terabytes of portable hard drive to have fun with for that.

I may put the ones I'm most interested in playing on a 500 gig portable harddrive so I can go onto my laptop, or elsewhere with them, but dunno just yet.

You'll get gift codes.

I know how you feel, maybe something like these?

1. Jade Empire 6.3 GB total download bought last year on insomniac sale for a cheap price since it looks neat and cheap also, seeing the size I have never download that one.

2.Dark Eye : Chains of Satinav 4.6 GB total download, got it as gift from GOG i think, never downloaded that either.

3. Trine 1 1.8 GB and Trine 2 2.9 GB bought when there is a bundle deal for them, also have never been downloaded.

There's a lot more but i guess that enough. Really GOG doesn't makes me feel bad spending some money for games which i might never play, i think GOG have brainwashed me here. LOL

I loved Jade Empire. I played through a good portion of Dark eye, and thought it was very good. Trine I never touched.

But yeah, I buy so much that I may never get to play, but I don't feel really ripped off, not yet at least. Of course now I'm going to make an effort to at least have them all downloaded so If on a whim I decided to play...*digs through list* Ohh I do have Trine, didn't realize that.

Where was I...

Oh right. I love you GOG!

edit: counted...149 games so far...and that isn't breaking apart the Tomb raider packs, or the police quest packs, or the multitude of 5 for 1 shelf space packs.

phaolo: Oh, AI War.. has anyone played it? Do you recommend it?
I've been playing it. It's good space warfare, a little bit like FTL on a bigger scale, and with less crew management. It's hard as a flint dagger, though.

Meanwhile, hey look! The entry of the first movie into the Flash Deals is coming up!
