I'm talking about a tv show that is trying to somewhat portray what high school life in now. With a good majority of them having tattoos. Tattoos dont bother me I have various ones on my back but when their supposedly 14 to 17 y/o with them all over like bumper stickers then I have a problem with the realism.

Gays- Don't care. By that I mean I don't have a problem nor any interest in anybodies sex preference or life. I hate token minority characters on shows and/or miss representation of minorities as well. So for example the show "Friends". They live in New York but not one black person or Asian, Paki, etc are on the show when they do exterior shots. Thats messed up. For this show my gripe is that there are like 5 straight people on the show with what seems like over half the school being gay. I think they over did it instead of going for more realism. Personally I would of shown a lot less but still realistic and kept the feel that they established where it wasnt a "thing" to be gay. Just normal. But no YOU want to make a thing out of it=P

Yes, very annoying mistake...I'm always surprised how many native speakers of English make such basic mistakes (also very common: confusing its and it's, they're/their/there).
Something needs to be done about this.
