i havent played with the commentary so perhaps the answer is in there, but

Q1: when your in the delta-six's cell in the rehab center, what is the "????" object in the upper left corner?

i tried all the interaction options, if its just a spy cam into the cell then why all the "????" and why didnt they just steal my stash when im locked in doing a training mission. i figured id find out an answer before the credits but nope. maybe i didnt return back to the cell at the right random (to me) time.

after seeking the answer on different forums a follow up question sprang up:

Q2: who was leaving the notes in delta-six's cell? (the "get out now" one in particular perked my curiosity)

it has a force field up when im not in it, and it cant be due to a memory wipe if im working on an 8 day time frame.

I believe the object is just a camera in one or those black domes. That's what I assumed, anyway.

Regarding notes. My impression was that those were left by an unhappy Center 7 staff member. There's a guy who seems to think that what they are doing to Delta-Six isn't right and he was probably among those staff members who were killed by the Director.

In the beginning of the game when delta six being waken up there is one staff member who say he gonna save delta six and dislike the facility i think this person is the one who leave the notes. And i assume that he is the one who killing the other staff in the final part of the game, when azriel come the facility is already wiped clean by this defector except for the patients and the director who locked himself in the office, just like the announcer say in the computer log.

Voice log tells us that the Director is acting strange. He locked himself into his office with all memory files and locked down the station. Staff member fears that the Director is coming after her, because she did find out that the Director was using the facility to train Boryokudan assassins instead of using it for rehabilitating criminals. Later when Azriel and Sayuri are trying to leave Center 7, the Director says that he took care of the people who tried to leave it earlier, because they wanted to reveal his wrongdoings.

So the director is the one who kill the staff? i dont remember he mentioned that in his final conversation, I always though he lock up in the office to protect himself from the traitor. well, i think my memory is vague.

the director was definitely on a killing spree at the end. the whole conversation revolved around him blasting Sayuri, and if he had a choice IIRC.
it didnt seem like he was new to blasting people away either, just contemplative about it.

gotta replay this one with the commentary on.
hopefully it leads to further insights.

i had forgotten the opening scene with the one 'rehab' worker speaking up for delta 6.
and that would explain how they got past the force field for delta 6's cell.
