I got my Steam controller to work one time with Gauntlet then for some reason it doesn't recognize it anymore. My 360 controllers work fine with the game and my steam controller works fine in every other game. I've tried everything I could find on Google but nothing has worked. Any advice is appreciated.

Finally got it working.
Backed up my saves and deleted all the game files.
Downloaded the offline installer (the one that doesn't install through the GOG galaxy)
Installed with the default settings.
Went to "add game" in steam to add non-steam game.
Let it find the game and selected it.
Go to Big Picture Mode in steam and launch game using Steam controller.
Then it worked fine with the Steam controller + my two 360 controllers at the same time.
