As in the title I don`t own the game yet but I was just wondering if GOG is releasing patches for the non-Galaxy version?

If its DRM free most likely you would just download the patches from matrix. They have a very active forum there that you may get a faster answer from. It is a great game but requires much patience, I am waiting to see if they redo war in the pacific...

I don`t believe the patches from Matrix would be compatible, unfortuanely. I`m aware of the Matrix forum but since this relates to the GOG version I thought I should ask here first. I already have War in the east but it`s on hold until the upcoming(?) bugfix patch. Hopefully that one will turn up here too.
