Anybody have any tips or strategy to assaulting an enemy office.


I only thing I can think of is having a squad of tommy gun guys sit outside and kill everybody going in and out. But I am not sure if this will work.

Any ideas?

Standing at the door with a squad is good for causing mass battlefields and lots of bodies. It is perfect for decreasing the enemy manpower.

I don't remember trying to "assault" an office, I don't think will have much effect.

But if you want to actually wipe out the other gang you'll have to bomb their office.

To do that I usually assign 20-30 hoods to bomb the office during the same week. You'll have to place the order several times to different lieutenants, spending a lot of money in bombs and weapons. Many of your guys will die in the effort, some even from the explosion. But it works.

If you'd like to micromanage, you can also mark the order as "wait" (the hand icon) in the week planner. Your hoods will stand at the door before bombing. Then you send the teams one by one, until some manage to kill all of them.

I'm going from memory on this, and don't remember if there's a difficulty setting (easy for me because I still can't quite get the hang of this game) but I've always had success once I've scouted their office to use the clipboard to instruct about 20 hoods with shotguns, doesn't seem to matter their skill iirc (could be mistaken) to kill the gang leader. No matter what, I always lose the exact same number of hoods every time before one of them succeeds.

I like to kill the two closest gang leaders as soon as I'm able, and leave the last alone while I have fun building my businesses. Sometimes the gang leader will be replaced by a lieutenant and I'll have to kill them too.

Bribes have sometimes led to one of my rivals being arrested and eventually taken out that way, but that's not quite as reliable as throwing fresh bodies at them.

Instead of wasting money for bombs just set fires. Send one skilled hood to torch the oponents tenement block first. It will usually work as a guard for the office. Send a group of at least two well equiped hoods (better 4 to 6) to the opposide building an kill the guards and all enemys returning to the office. The next week send several troops to torch the office. No bombs needed. I usually manually choose a hood of a team and send 2x3 and 1x4 hoods of at least 3 teams --> 30 hoods. f there is already war and a lot of police you will loose a lot of hoods and should send 4 hood of each team via priority order. The now often use cars which allow you to avoid street wars and conflicts with the police.
