I distinctly recall reading about the various illegal businesses in the game (what they do, what should you look out for when setting them up...) when I played it a long time ago (the Sold Out version), but I can't find these in the manual. So I wonder: where did I read these things? Was there a strategy guide for the game, bundled with Sold Out's version of Gangsters?

Must have been on the Internet as they are plenty of guides of that sort on there. I bring one up everytime I start a game so I can place my illigal business in the correct place.

Thanks, but I'm pretty sure it was off-line - back when I first played this game, I didn't have any internet access.

Hmm, that *might* have been the one, maybe SoldOut bundled it with the game.

check gamefaqs.com, they have a strategy guide,faq and defensive guide listed.

There is some info about that you can find on the web. You can also try waybackmachine. Nevertheless you won't find all the lists which are present in the Prima's guide.
