In week 7 nearly all of my men get killed by enemy and poiice.. The only thing I might made wrong is expanding a bit far away from my office because of downtown concentrated business region gettin me more money.. Maybe this is why 2 Gangsters put their crosshairs on me.. But I have 7 Capos.. 25men.. and most have rifles or shotguns.. (they seem to take too much time to pull out of their fuckin violin cases.. even 1 guy has double berettas.. but I always get killed.. Capos have Intel 4-5 and organization also 4 star.. And I'm not sure if payin the police helps..

And does anyone know how I can kill enemies with the knife? What is this skill good for? It says if someone is unsuspicious too, he is good for Asassin.. but when I try to kill an enemy in stree view with a guy without a gun, he declines.. if he has a gun.. he uses a gun.. even with assault commando.. because the oder starts shooting..

You can tell your men to engage or run, the police should only attack if they have a warrant and your guy fights instead of getting arrested.

Killing the enemies with the knife is usually use for silencing witnesses or killing a target.

If you expand quite far thats fine build another office and it will make sure they can leave from another point on the map.

I'm not sure, but it is possible to follow opponents into buildings. Maybe they use knivee indoors to avoid police attention. Your opponent will attack first if you dont declare ware to them. Once they are agressive your have to send massive hoods to the same destination. Fighting opponents and police will make you easily loose 20 hoods in one fight. Deoending of the location. If you don't have enough hoods, avoid that area or put all guns back in stock, if your hoods get attacked the flee. Cops will start to attack your opponent and kill them for you. You shold micro the fleeing hoods so the will stop fleeing once the enemy is dead and follow ther tasks.

The "Assault" command will result in a unit (When outside of a building) beating up the other gangster to force them to retreat, but this can spiral into a gunfight.
However an "Assault" Target that goes into a building will be stabbed if your unit catches up to him inside the building.

As a general rule of thumb, you want to avoid too much combat as it attracts police attention, smashing businesses/simply owning them first seems to be a good idea.

Keep in mind the Shotgun/Rifle are the best "overal" guns, the Tommy Gun/Dual Pistols need a high weapons stat to be effective (But are devestating when they are) and the single pistol is more of a cheap gun that's really bad that you give units you don't really expect to get in a shootout, but want them to be able to fire back.

I haven't won a game myself yet but this seems to be how you're ment to play, smashing/burning buildings and saving outright murder as a last resort.

If you have a weak Hood, you can have him assault enemy gangsters infront of cops so the cops shoot/kill them when they start shooting. (Though the Cop might let them go if they see you started it first.)
