Once again,we seems need to wait for longer to have the new patch, anyone hears any news where we could get it on GOG?

I've asked regularly about this over on the GalCiv fora and never received an answer from Stardock. I'm glad that they eventually release via GOG but I wonder why they seem to treat this platform like an ugly stepchild.

Exactly, I am not sure how the whole business operates but I have written to GOG as well to tell them about this delay. Although I guess they have no control when a dev uploads update. However, this kind of delays do give this platform some bad impression. I have own GalGiv 3 when iut was released on Steam and I decided to re-buy it here and all the following DLCs here just to support this platform and DRM-free games. But devs like Stardock really did not help when they treat people here like this. We are as valuable as the people who bought the game somewhere else and why don't they put a little effort to make the update here in a timely fashion? You may have noticed, they don't even update the change log since January. which is super lazy and they just did the bare minimum here.

I ain't sure if GOG can do anything, such as, they make it an obligation in the agreement with the developers to release latest version here as the same time or within certain period when the update is released on other platforms/storefronts . Or they can send an reminder to the dev when some customers write to GOG saying a game's update has not been upload. My point is that, even I am not sure if it is possible, in term of manpower or workload, GOG may be able to do something to at least remind the developers to update when they receive enquiries from a customer.

Nevertheless, I will still support GOG and I guess there is some room for improvement.
