Got an email today saying this game and its DLCs are on sale from Stardock and Steam. Does anyone know if I get the Crusade expansion straight from Stardock will it work with the main game I got from Gog?

I expect that it will. And if not, then I believe you can register both products with Stardock and download both from them directly.
