Just returned after some time off playing GCIII and I am finding the game refuses to load. it trys to load the entry screeen and just goes blank, sits blank for about 5 minutes and then times out and gives time out error. Anyone else having or had the same issue and know the work around.

and before you ask....

Yes Ive deleted and reinstalled the game AND the GoG server!!!

any assistance would help!!!!

A couple of years late but I ony just got GalCiv3. When I tried, it came up with an error that d2dx10_43.dll was not found. I just searched and found a side (www.dll-files.com) and downloaded from there.

Worked for me.

Does GOG version have 4.21 number? There is news about 4.21 patch on Steam, so i wonder if GOG has this patch too.
