Well, recalling the times I had GalCiv2 on CDs I'm sure I played it on WinXP. Now I see that system requirements on game page are starting from Vista. Who is wrong here, me or GOG?

I haven't tested it, but the game should still run under Win XP. It was originally made for it, and I can't see anything that would have changed that requirement.

I haved tested this (on WinXP SP3) and all 3 variants (Dread Lords, Dark Avatar, Twilight) work fine.

GalCiv 2 predates Vista's official release by a year (though Vista support is mentioned in the manual) and originally worked on Win98, so it's rather odd to see GOG listing only those Windows versions that weren't around on release. ;)
