I've attempted to find this answer online, but haven't found a clear or definitive answer, so I thought I'd try here.
I bought the GC3 Ultimate Edition on the black friday sale, but since I use the offline installers (no internet on my home computer) I need to know if there is an install order to follow for the DLCs and Expansions.
From my understanding, most games nowadays don't care what order DLCs are added, but I'm not sure where GC3 falls on that. I have a few older games that will throw a fit and break if you install expansions in anything but a very specific order. I'm thinking that since I haven't been able to find any complaints from users about this with GC3, it's probably not an issue here. Can anyone confirm if that is correct?
Or maybe I am completely misunderstanding the offline installers list; does the main game's installer also install all the DLC, making those additional downloads redundant? Based on the filesize I'm thinking not, but I'd still rather be sure before I make the effort.
I won't be installing them right away anyway, as I've decided to make myself finish my current huge map game on GalCiv2 before I install the newer game. I have a bad habit of not finishing games when I try a new one, so I'm forcing myself to finish it this time. ;)
