When you register GalCiv3 you are presented with a GOG redeem code for the ship designer.

The code seems to be accepted by GOG, but after the captcha I can't get any further - I am presented with a screen that just says "Code Contents - 0 of 1 selected" and nothing else except a "Cancel" button.

So I'm a little confused. Anyone else run into this?

Is the ship designer supposed to be in the main menu? I've redeemed the code and Galaxy has it checked off as installed.

No, you have to start a game in order to access the designer.
