LentFilms: Interesting posts Baggins and Santiago! Exactly the type of indepth opinion pieces I wanted to hear :)
Would be cool to see that game the way it looked prior to getting compressed to hell.
yes! agreed. KingCrimson250: I'm not particularly interested in playing it, but I'm tempted to buy it anyway. Why? Because I would absolutely love to see this style of remake for GK2, and if this one sells enough, they might do just that.
LentFilms: I personally would rather see a remastered version of the game, essentially just improving the FMV quality. Would be cool to see that game the way it looked prior to getting compressed to hell.
I wouldn't like to see gk2 totally remade...just better video quality and I'd be happy.
maybe a hint system to keep it frustration free. I remember a few awful puzzles. the cuckoo clock puzzle and the one where you have to splice tapes for the guy at the zoo. ...also the pigeon solution and hidden compartments in the castle. that game gave me a few snags. but otherwise it was so good I still call it one of my favorites.
gk3 is the one that needs a visual makeover from the ground up but that's just my opinion...
