I hope GOG update this to include the patch by AllTinker to fix the pops and crackles in the speech. Even updating ScummVM to 2.9.0 (which incorporates a large part of that patch) should bring major improvements.

For people annoyed by audio glitches, until GOG updates the release (if ever), you can try using ScummVM 2.9.0 yourself or, if you prefer DOSBox like I do, download the patch from the site I linked above.
