I really hope someone can help me here.
I cannot stop poor Gabe from being killed here.
I obtained a save somewhere and then I get " this was saved from another game or interpreter and cannot be restored" Rats.......
I wonder, maybe i need a save from another GK2 game that was downloaded from GOG?
To make a long story short:
Has anyone here a save at the end of Chapter 5 to get me to the next chapter?
If this doesn't work, I have to watch the longplay versions on youtube, without playing....such a shame. I think some of the best is still to come....

In your inventory, you have a huge, heavy amulet made of gold or something. Take it out and use it on the wolf when it appears. Keep following the wolf until you trap it on the cliffedge somewhere south in the forest. Not hard at all to do.

I tried that. I think my trouble was that I can't find the cliff in time. Meanwhile I downloaded some saves online, but when I used them I found the game would not accept any of the saves anymore so now I am back to playing it again.

I have a walkthrough of the wood screens and next time I am going to learn how to get to the cliff asap instead of wandering around randomly.....

Here's a cheap solution I found out while playing the game:

When you begin the forest sequence, the wolf will NOT be after you. It will be only after you enter a certain screen. Enjoy this opportunity to walk around and learn the paths. When you reach the cliff edge, go away from it and back a few times and the wolf will miraculously appear there.

It has been a while but I'm pretty certain you don't have to have the wolf after you to trigger the sequence. If it, by chance, doesn't work, you will at least have learned the way there.

You want to get the wolf to the cliff BEFORE you enter the cliff yourself, that might be your problem too ;)

I am Sorry I can't help you here but maybe you cab help me I am stuck at the end of Chapter 3 I go into the hunting club and there is no one to talk too. I have been in the locked room and mailed graces letter so that isn't it

I have also talked to Harry about the missing persons
I go into the hunting club and no one it there except the guy at the entrance.
