When you read the dictionary, you can learn that "Spiel" means game. "Spiel" is a word you may recognize from Spielburg, where "Quest For Glory" takes place. You can learn in Gabriel Knight that "Spielburg" means "Game City."

You can also look up Drachen, and then Gabriel will talk about possibly calling Mosely "Drachen Breath."

The guy who buys that painting is an unfriendly man named Bruno.

I wonder how many of these were intentional "Quest For Glory" references.

Actually "burg" means castle. So it's "Game castle".

Technically, "burg" means "walled town." A military fortification would be "schloss."

That makes sense. Rittersburg is the name of the town not the castle. The castle is Schloss Ritter.

The name is RittersbErg, "Berg" is the German word for "mountain". "Burg" means a fortress and "Schloss" is usually used for a magnificent residence.

You can do a Google image search and get easily an impression of the difference, but I have to say that the border is fluent and many "Schlösser" developed from former "Burgen".
