Hi i just bought Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers and Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within (gabriel 3 is 3d (spoils the game)I assume that all bugs are resolved ?

I wanted to buy the 1st one and the 2nd (this I own on cd) sooner
i was googling for info and replies on the remake of sins o/t father

It showed me replies from steam, seems there are/were some problems with the remake, walking through walls and more negative things, some replies even told its best to stay with the classic.

Reading this i decided to buy the game now , at its current price, i had it on hold (waiting for a discount).

get gk 3. it's worth it. it is 3d...and feels different...but the mood and atmosphere is still there somehow for the most part. not as good as 1 and 2 but you'd be doing yourself a favor to give 3 a fair chance if you enjoyed the earlier games.

I've played gk1 and gk2 on both a vista laptop and a windows 8 desktop with zero problems.

however with gk3 I get this please insert disc 1 error on both systems. the gk3 .exe file from gamescopy world (no cd fix) solves this problem. also gk 3 will sometimes get stuck on loading screens and I have to exit the game and reload. so I save a lot. even with these issues it's worth it but that's me.
