So I downloaded all three files through my browser to install the game. Two files are being read VLC player files and the other is a .exe file. How do you install using these?

Edit: Forgot to mark as question. Fail.

Should be as simple as putting all 3 files in the same directory and just running the .exe file. Follow on-screen instruction and you should be up and running in no time.
I feel so dumb. I have all three in the same folder. When i run the .exe file it says it cannot open the other files.
Try to redownload just the .exe file.
I did. It seems the .exe will not run or read the other files. Not sure which program to use either.
Have you tried right-clicking the .exe and running as administrator (assuming you have admin access)?

You don't need a program, the .exe file is what reads the .bin files.

If the .exe can't read the bin files something is probably wrong with one or more files.

Can you post the name of the files you downloaded ? And maybe their sizes ?

I downloaded all three files through my browser.
These are the files.

1. setup_gabriel knight_2 .exe file. 2.27 MB
2. setup_gabriel knight_2-1 .bin file. 1.95 Gb
3. setup_bariel knight_1-2 .bin file. 487 MB
The name of the second .bin file is messed up, but that's just a typo, right ?

The sizes match those of the files i have on my HD.

If all 3 files are in the same folder i'm not sure what could be wrong.

What does the error message says exactly when you double clck the .exe ?
Oops. All the files are Gabriel knight 2. followed by a 1 or 2. 2-1, 2-2. That was a typo.

It says it cannot open the 2-1 file. But I have downloaded it several times. Argh.

And running as admin makes no difference. Should I just re-download all the files again?

Maybe you should try. Give the downloader a try or maybe a different browser.

Also make sure it's not something interfering with the install process like your Anti Virus or UAC or something like that.

Having the 3 files in the same folder and running the .exe is really all there is to it, so either one of the files is bad or something is getting in the way of the .exe .
I will try. I have never had a problem with any of the other games i bought until now. Ha. I will see if that works.
If you're on Win 7 or Vista, try running the exe "As Administrator".
Thanks everyone. It's working now.
