Not a glitch but the actual interface they decided to use for the game is absolutely horrid. They seemed to have spent all their dev time creating a 3d interface but forgot the actual gameplay. I spent 10minutes in the first scene just trying to move around the room, the mini panel that displays with hotspots is unfathomable. Having multiple zoom functions that have the same voice over result does not add to game enjoyment, it only adds to aggravation. I never seen such a convoluted, overly complicated interface for a point and click game before. Add in the nausea that comes from an unnecessary 3d camera function and I have to say this sucks big time.
I have played other games that used 3d camera on a static images before and that never works. You end up hunting for the perfect camera angle in order to get the game to activate 'proper' actions, which are missed in all the other camera angles you blunder into. Its a gimmick that adds nothing to gameplay, but I could live with that, but the mini toolbar is just too unintuitive to get past. I mean seriously, why does a simple hotspot of an end table have to involve mutliple zooms, interactions and camera angle adjustments in order to just 'look' at the bloody thing. Unplayable tripe
and then there is Tim Curry again, after GK2 I really cant stomach his version of Gabriel, its just too obtrusive, horrible accent and smarmy. I love love me some Tim Curry but for this he really was out of place
what a shame, I really looked forward to this installment of the story
thought I would put a negative review out there to give a heads up to other people out there to counter all constant 5star reviews out there on gog for every bloody game no matter the title.
