I'm on day two of Gabriel Knight, and I need to get the sketches of the other six patterns (I have the first, from the crime scene) to show to the artist in the park. Detective Mosley mentioned that Officer Franks has the case file with the pictures in it; but she won't talk to me! She keeps saying that one of the other cops could help me more.
I finally broke down and looked at a walkthrough, and it told me it was a simple matter of just talking to her... though it suggested I do so on day one. Slightly frustrated, I restarted the game and followed its instructions excatly... but Officer Franks said the same thing, and I couldn't see the file. I even looked up at video on Youtube of a player getting the sketches, followed what that guy did to a letter, and ran into the same problem.
So... is my game broken, or am I missing something? Someone help, please! I want to find out who the killer is. :-)
