Are you downloading the 3 files ?

You'll need the 3 setup files, one .exe file and the two .bin files on your pc and on the same folder to install the game

If you're using the downloader:

go into the folder where the downloader stores the setup files, you can see where that folder is by clicking 'Options' on the downloader and then look up the location of the folder below where it says 'Download Folder'. Go into that folder and make sure you have these 3 files:

setup_gabriel_knight_2.exe
setup_gabriel_knight_2-1.bin
setup_gabriel_knight_2-2.bin

If you're using the browser:

When you click on a link to download the setup files you have to choose Save (never choose Run), and then download the files to a folder on your pc. You have to download all 3 files, the ones i mentioned above, to the same folder on your pc otherwise the installer won't run.

If you were already downloading all 3 files, make sure your firewall or antivirus software are not interfering with either the download itself or the install.
Yes i have download the 3 three files , Twice and one time with the gog downloaded..and it won't open, same message.
i tried with phantasmagoria, it check the file integrity but that's it, won't install as well.

So i don't really know, i have dosbox, do you know if need that to play theses game?

I will try to close my antivirus and see.

Thanks.
The gog games that require dosbox will install it automatically unless you choose not to on the installer options, so no, that's likely not the issue.

Regarding Phantasmagoria, if the file integrity goes all the way to the end without throwing any errors that could be UAC getting in the way of the install process. UAC will take a while to go over the install files, but you can disable it temporarily to speed up the install process a bit. If you do so, don't forget to re-enable it once the game's installed.

Good to hear its working now, enjoy the game!
I downloaded the game through the GoG downloader. There are two files for a total of 2.42 Gb. My computer is reading them as VLC player files. What do I need to do to run them?
