I've been playing around with setting up DOS emulation (via 86Box) and part of the fun is being able to get the installers for a lot of old GOG games and directly install them on the virtual machine like you are playing on the original hardware.

I had found some info on both Vogons.org and the PC Gaming Wiki for this game that there is a DOSBOX version available, but I can't seem to find that anywhere, the only installer seems to use ScummVM.

To get access to DOSBox version you have to use GOG Galaxy rollback feature and install previous version. It should work on both GK1 and 2. And many other games here such as Phantastmagoria 2.

Edit: I've checked the ScummVM installer and it seems that it contains all nececery files to play the game in DOSBox so no problem.
