Any plans on releasing it? It was included with the original game, really helps understanding the plot.

Seconded.
I'd also like to know that
I found a PDF of it here:

I remember it being a comic book for number three too. Was there also one for The Beast Within?

I have all three Gabriel Knight's games, boxed and everything (being the games collector I am!) and although I could only lay my hands on number three quickly to confirm it has a comic, I can say they all had comics in the packaging.

Whoa, I don't think I've ever seeing a Beast Within comic, was there one? I own GK1 and 2 only as the "Gabriel Knight Mysteries" box which sadly didn't have the comics physically printed but the GK1 comic was only included digitally; of course that was pretty much compensated by them including the actual paperback novel, Sins of the Fathers. :)
Anyways, on topic, GOG should add the comics as extras for sure.

I'm pretty sure GK2 did not have a comic. I have practically everything to do with this series (GK1 floppy, CD original, CD budget re-release, GK2 original, budget, GK3 original, budget, GK Mysteries boxset and both novels), and I've never once even heard mention of a GK2 comic, let alone seen it myself.

You're right and should be more than 'pretty sure', based on your collection! My Gabriel Knight 2 is a Sierra's budget label box, so just has the 6 CD box and manual.
To be honest, what CD Projekt has does with The Witcher, they could work with GOG.com to get permission to do a comic for the 2nd game! They might have to pay Activision a little money, and may have to charge us for it, by making the game $9.99 instead of $5.99, or even selling it separately, for $5.99! I;d pay for it !! :)

It feels like there is a few pages missing from the end.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Know this thread is a couple of years old but to any wanderers by, I have submitted a suggestion to the GOG.com team about the subject of the GK comics. I was inspired to submit a suggestion to the GOG.com team and got a reply back.

Hello, thank you for your suggestion. We already know about these extras, but I am unable to determine if we will ever add them as we need to get the rights first and it is always a long and hard process.

The big issue here is getting the rights from Activision who owns the rights to the Gabriel Knight games. They have the final say on the license to the extras. It may be a long time before we ever see the comics added and maybe not at all. For now though people are just going to have to get the comics elsewhere like I have. PDF copies are not too hard to find online though and I know that the physical version of GK3 has it already on the first disc.

Still I too would really like for them to be included officially as extras.

Thank you! Very much so.
Btw, the GK3 comic can be found here:

If Activision holds the rights, I guess they might be more easily persuaded to allow the comics among GOG extras if the upcoming GK 20th Anniversary Edition does well.

I know I did my part pre-ordering it ;)

EDIT: It seems that the GK1 comic will in fact be included with the remake version (GK20). Just found this:

For the record, the original GK1 comic by Terese Nielsen is indeed part of

Not yet as a downloadable extra but still...
