hi, i downloaded the gog version of this game when the one i downloaded for dosbox didn't work. it worked for like 2 minutes then crashed when i went to go visit granny.

one thing i noticed is the gog version doesnt have the grey UI at the top with all the buttons, including for accessing the inventory. how do i access the inventory or the tape recorer, all that stuff? i've googled this question and it's yielded no results.

is my version of the game broken? is there some key combination i've missed?

nevermind, i reloaded and it appears now.
