I'm tempted by the preorder offer for the remaster of Full Throttle, but the Windows-only compatibility gives me pause. On the one hand, I recall that the Monkey Island Special Edition games were Windows-only as well, and that they worked just fine in Crossover. But on the other, Double Fine has release other multi-platform games recently, so I have to wonder if they have a good reason not to here that would prevent it from working in Wineskin.

Does anyone have any insight or information that would help me make a decision? Thanks.

It does say on the product page "The Mac & Linux versions of Full Throttle Remastered will be available post-launch." So if you went ahead and purchased it and it didn't run with WINE right away, you'd get a working Mac version eventually (there's just no indication of how much longer after April 18th you'd have to wait).

I preordered this game because it said there'd be cross platform support (Windows, Mac and Linux). I'm more than a little surprised when it only showed the Windows version when i preordered for the Mac version.
